Print Roster
Shakespeare & Co.'s in-store book printing machine is one of it's most popular offerings. It collaborates with all other departments and is, as a result, very complex to manage the roster of pending prints. To deal with the difficulties of managing printing hundreds of books a week from different departments and sources, Shakespeare built it's own unique task management software, the print roster.
I was responsible for the full stack development and maintenance of the web app. The back end runs on MySQL and PHP, combining data from multiple datatables. The front end is composed of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery.
The print roster has not only improved organization and productivity within the book printing department, it has also improved communication and accountability between departments and has drastically improved customer satisfaction with the Espresso Book Machine.
